Immortals DVD Limited Edition Movie Sticker
Why I’m buying the Immortals DVD when I haven’t even seen the movie… yet?
I was a big fan of the movie 300 and got the dvd as soon as I could. So when I first saw the commercial for Immortals staring Henry Cavill, Luke Evans, Mickey Rourke and Isabel Lucas. I was like not only am I going to see that when it comes out, I’m getting the dvd to. I would later learn (that’s 50 seconds later) that the movie commercial I was referring to was for the movie Immortals and the dvd I was taking about buying was Immortals DVD or maybe I’ll get the Blu-Ray( I might upgrade buy then)?
Now, you might be thinking, that I see every movie that advertise on TV, but you’d be wrong. The only movies that I have been this excited over were, “The Matrix” trilogy the Lord of the Rings trilogy the “Underworld” trilogies and “Kill Bill” one and two most of the time. I just wait for movies to go to the two dollar theater, and then I use the movie as a commercial to decide if I want to buy the DVD. But this time, I’m all in for immortals. So let me tell you a little bit about the movie but first take a look at the trailer.
Immortals DVD
The swords and sandals fantasy Immortals centers on the ancient Greek epic of Theseus, the mythical king of Athens who slayed the Minotaur. Tarsem Singh (The Cell) will shoot the film in the style of 300. Charley and Vlas Parlapanides scripted the film produced by Relativity Media.
What is Immortals DVD?
Is an upcoming 2011 3D action adventure film directed by Tarsem Singh and starring Henry Cavill, Freida Pinto, and Mickey Rourke. The film was previously named Dawn of War and War of the Gods before being officially named Immortals and is loosely based on the Greek myth of Theseus and the Minotaur and the Titanomachy.
Immortals DVD Release Date
It is set to be released in 2D and in 3-D (using the Real D 3D and Digital 3D formats) by Universal Pictures and Relativity Media in Theaters Nationwide. The DVD and Blu-Ray will be available sometime after that depending on how will Immortals does at the Box Office. I’ll keep you posted
Immortals DVD Storyline
Eons after the Gods won their mythic struggle against the Titans, a new evil threatens the land. Mad with power, King Hyperion (Mickey Rourke) has declared war against humanity. Amassing a bloodthirsty army of soldiers disfigured by his own hand, Hyperion has scorched Greece in search of the legendary Epirus Bow, a weapon of unimaginable power forged in the heavens by Ares.
Only he who possesses this bow can unleash the Titans, who have been imprisoned deep within the walls of Mount Tartaros since the dawn of time and thirst for revenge. In the king’s hands, the bow would rain destruction upon mankind and annihilate the Gods.
But ancient law dictates the Gods must not intervene in man’s conflict. They remain powerless to stop Hyperion…until a peasant named Theseus (Henry Cavill) comes forth as their only hope. Secretly chosen by Zeus, Theseus must save his people from Hyperion and his hordes.
